PSE has updated the PSE Marketplace to expand our offerings of demand response ready products! By installing smart, connected devices, you can enroll in the PSE Flex programs and receive additional rewards for helping reduce strain on the grid. If you need an electric car charger, Emporia Classic Smart Home Plug-In EV chargers are now available! The charger is a Level 2 EV charger offering up to 48 amps of power and can be controlled with a smart mobile app. Usually retailing for $429, save $300 by purchasing through the PSE Marketplace for $129! Emporia EV chargers are eligible to enroll in the PSE Flex EV demand response program. If enrolled in this program, PSE will send a remote signal to your charger to pause charging for a short time on days when there is high demand for electricity (known as “Flex events”). Have an electric water heater? PSE is now offering Smart Water Links through the PSE Marketplace at no cost to you! Most heat pump or electric storage water heaters manufactured after January 2023 can be connected to the PSE Flex Water Heater program with a Smart Water Link. Installation is easy. Just connect a module to your existing water heater and WiFi and enroll today. Earn a $20 enrollment reward, $20 for each year you stay enrolled, and an extra $75 enrollment bonus for being a Bainbridge Island participant!
