Bainbridge Day of Preparedness 2026

Every year, Bainbridge Prepares teams up with its partners, the City of Bainbridge Island and the Bainbridge Island Fire Department, to host its annual Day of Preparedness (DOP), a readiness expo for islanders.
 
This year, DOP 2026 is taking place on Saturday, September 19 at Fire Station 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Various booths will cover communications, power outages, water, water heater maintenance, gardening and emergency food options, fire preparedness, the Map Your Neighborhood program, gear bags, animal readiness, psychological first aid, child safety, and Disaster Hubs. 
 
In addition, there will be gear giveaways including first aid supplies, emergency food, LED flashlights, seed packets, and water filtration tablets. For a donation, attendees will be entered to win door prizes including Jackery generators, water storage kits, NOAA weather radios, and more. Fire Station 21 is located at 8895 Madison Ave. N. on Bainbridge Island.
