PSE is lucky to welcome Renee Zimmerman and David P. Brown to our community outreach team on Bainbridge Island. Renee as Community Projects Manager and David as Outreach Coordinator both work to engage with Island customers in projects and programs that improve Bainbridge’s electric system.

Renee is a long-time Issaquah resident. In her spare time, she is leader and volunteer in organizations such as Boy Scouts and Eastside Baby Corner and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. Prior to working for PSE, Renee served as an Executive Director for three non-profit organizations and worked as a Project Manager and Public Involvement Manager for the Washington State Department of Transportation. In her current role, she travels to Bainbridge Island several times a week to meet with residential and business customers to understand their needs, address their concerns and answer their questions. “I’m so thrilled to join the Bainbridge team and spend more time getting to know customers on the Island.” Renee shared. “One of my favorite aspects of my role at PSE is partnering with Bainbridge organizations through our sponsorships. Most of all, I enjoy meeting new people and engaging with Islanders in all things PSE!”

David grew up on Whidbey Island and has lived in the Pacific Northwest almost his entire life. Before joining PSE, David was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of AirlineReporter.com as a news source for aviation, airlines and travel. He initially joined PSE in 2016 and more recently took on his new position as Outreach Coordinator. His favorite part of this new role is getting to know Bainbridge Island, especially working with organizations like PSE’s 2019 Powerful Partners: Bainbridge Youth Services and West Sound Wildlife Shelter. In his free time, David and his fiancée love exploring Kitsap County and are settling into their new home in Port Orchard.

If you see Renee and David on the Island, please come and say “hi!”
