Telephone Town Hall audio

Postcard invitation sent to Bainbridge residents

We want to thank everyone who participated in the telephone town hall on Thursday, February 16. Over the course of the evening we had over 300 folks call in, with over 100 staying through the majority of the call. Thanks also for the great and thoughtful questions. One point that stuck with us is you get it – a City-run electric utility is not to your advantage. We can help to solve reliability and environmental issues on the Island for a lower overall cost to you, the customer.

It also bears repeating, PSE is not for sale. The City of Bainbridge Island will be forced to go through a long and expensive legal process called condemnation. This process could go on for years and cost the residents and businesses of Bainbridge Island millions of additional dollars in legal and consulting fees.

Please listen to the telephone town hall through this video on our YouTube channel and hear the questions your neighbors asked with our answers. Decide for yourself. Also come to the community town hall on Monday, February 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bainbridge Performing Arts Center to ask your own questions.
