Supporting communities dealing with the impacts of COVID-19

In order to help our community partners, the PSE Foundation and PSE teamed up to donate more than a million dollars to support COVID-19 relief efforts across our community. The PSE Foundation donated $130,000 to regional food banks throughout our service area to support their operational costs.

All nine food banks in Kitsap County received assistance, including Bainbridge Island’s own Helpline House. Andy Wappler, Vice President of Customer Operations and Communications shared a heartfelt thank you to Helpline House. “The work you do every day makes a difference for countless families. In addition to addressing hunger, your food bank provides a social touch point for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.”
