Rummage Sale raises over $624,000 in revenue for Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island hosted their 58th Annual Auction & Rummage Sale on June 3, held at Woodward Middle School. Total revenues of over $624,000 were raised due to the support of the Bainbridge and Puget Sound community. Just a small sample of the outpouring of community support:

  • Over 1,500 Auction volunteers spent countless hours over a 10-day period taking in, organizing, and selling donations in 37 departments during the sale.
  • Over 4,000 vehicles delivered over 150,000 items to be sold.
  • Over 6,000 Auction attendees opened their billfolds to make purchases during the 6-hour sale.

The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island puts the money raised to good use within the Island community and beyond. They issue community grants to local non-profit organizations; support large community and international humanitarian projects; and give college, career, and technical school scholarships based on community service and career objectives, respectively.

PSE is proud to join other Platinum level sponsors Bainbridge Island Ace Hardware, Dubious Family Foundation, Eileen Black, and Modern Collision in supporting this incredible event.
