Puget Sound Energy is convening a Community Sounding Board (CSB) to help inform our routing process for a new transmission line to improve electric reliability on Bainbridge Island.
The CSB will consist of a diverse group of people to engage in focused discussions during the routing process to site a new transmission line within the project study area.
CSB discussions will inform PSE decisions regarding the transmission line route. CSB members will individually or collectively provide insight, input, values and feedback on criteria, route segments and other project-related topics identified by PSE.
The CSB will help inform the routing process for the new "missing link" transmission line between the Winslow and Murden Cove substations. The new transmission line will create a transmission system “loop” to improve electric reliability for families, schools and businesses.

Applications to join the CSB will be accepted through Jan. 21, 2020.
