PSE is proud to serve Bainbridge Island and to have been a part of this community for more than 60 years. We want to continue to serve you for years to come.
As you are likely aware, there is a discussion happening at City Hall about the City of Bainbridge Island taking over the electric system from PSE. The City has just completed a feasibility study, outlining what it would take for the City to buy the system from PSE and set up a new electric utility.
You may have questions about this topic, about the study, or about PSE and our plans for the future. We are here to answer your questions, to listen to your views and to work with you.
This is an important conversation and one PSE will actively engage in. We have set up local resources to provide information to the public, including a local website and Facebook page - @pseonbainbridge. In addition, we are hosting two upcoming events to answer questions and hear from the community:
- Telephone Town Hall, Thursday, Feburary 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. - It's easy to participate. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight February 15 and we’ll email you information about how to connect to the town hall call.
- Community Town Hall, Monday, February 27, 7 to 9 p.m. - Join us at the Bainbridge Performing Arts Center at 200 Madison Avenue North. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, get answers, and share your thoughts and concerns.
