PSE and Fishline celebrate new solar array

Earlier this month, we celebrated the unveiling of Fishline Food Bank and Comprehensive Services’ new solar array, funded through PSE’s Green Power and Solar Choice programs. The $100,000 granted to Fishline was used to purchase the 29-kilowatt solar array.

This installation will generate an estimated 31,000-kilowatt hours annually, replacing an estimated 35% of Fishline’s annual electricity use with solar energy. Projects like this enable Fishline to continue its mission of providing food and access to resources that offer stability, improve health and well-being, and help create a path to self-sustainability.

“PSE values the long-time partnership with Fishline. We have worked together on numerous efforts from energy efficiency to bill assistance program training to sponsorships and now this solar project,” noted Karen Brubeck, PSE Senior Community Affairs Representative. “It is an honor to support the fantastic work they do in the community.” Read more about this effort in PSE’s media release here.
