In 2019, PSE announced the “missing link” transmission line project. The proposed new transmission line is a critical component of PSE’s plan to improve electric service reliability, reducing the frequency and duration of power outages for customers on Bainbridge Island.
For over a year, PSE listened to the Bainbridge Island community regarding the routing of the “missing link”, hosting online meetings, workshops, and information sessions to ensure the community had the best information possible. Our technical staff has worked diligently to narrow down route options to select a preferred route.
The next milestone for the “missing link” project is to share PSE’s preferred route with the community.
Tuesday, Nov. 30, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
RSVP via psebainbridge.participate.online
We’ll share the preferred route, how PSE selected the route, how community input and Community Sounding Board input was considered during the selection process, and detail next steps for the “missing link” transmission line.
Following the announcement meeting, PSE will host the sixth Community Sounding Board meeting, where we will discuss how PSE considered community feedback to inform the identified route option. The meeting will be on Thursday, December 2 at 5 p.m., and you can learn more at https://psebainbridge.com/.
We hope to see you there!
