Island Volunteer Caregivers (IVC) and Bainbridge Island Senior/Community Center (BISCC) are hosting two heartwarming community meals as part of their Holiday Meal program – a Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 23 and a festive holiday meal on Friday, December 22. Both meals will be held at St. Cecilia’s Conger Hall on Bainbridge Island. Sign-up sheets will be available prior to the events at the Senior/Community Center, Helpline House of Bainbridge, Winslow Arms, and Virginia Villa. For Bainbridge Island residents who are unable to attend in person, IVC volunteers will deliver meals to ensure the holiday spirit reaches every corner of the island.
The Holiday Meal program is made possible through generous contributions from businesses like Coquette, Blackbird, Town & Country Markets, Sweet Dahlia, Via Rosa II, Joe’s Restaurant, and Hitchcock, and it ensures that seniors, shut-ins or anyone in need of a little extra cheer can come together and share a meal. It’s a beautiful way to combat loneliness and isolation during the holiday season.
PSE is pleased to again sponsor the Holiday Meal program.
