Established in 2006, the Puget Sound Energy Foundation works to keep communities safe, supported, and thriving across PSE’s service territory. The Foundation is a nonprofit entity operating entirely independently of PSE, which means none of its funds come from customers’ rates.
Over the past two years, the Foundation has provided grants to assist our communities in dealing with insecurities created during or worsened by the pandemic. First launched in 2020, the PSE Foundation extended its COVID-19 community focus through 2021 to help address the ongoing and compounding impacts to our communities. Our 2021 grant awards focused on the most immediate needs such as childcare, housing, food and other essential services.
