Fletcher Bay-area electric system upgrade

In conjunction with the City of Bainbridge Island road improvement project, PSE crews relocated a portion of our electric distribution system to make room for the city’s work. This project entailed replacing select utility poles and the associated electric equipment along Fletcher Bay Rd NE and Miller Rd NE. We also took this opportunity to increase your electric reliability by installing tree wire. By installing tree wire in other locations, we’ve helped reduce power outages related to falling tree branches by up to 95 percent.
