BIMA celebrates 10 years with summer events

PSE is proud to support Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) as it gears up for a
vibrant summer with a nonstop roster of arts, educational, cultural, and community
programs, celebrating this “small but mighty” museum’s 10th anniversary.
BIMA’s current exhibition Indigenous Strength & Wellness features work by
contemporary artists of the Salish Seas and is drawing rave reviews.

Next up in July is the museum’s first-ever juried exhibition, Spotlight, a massive survey of
contemporary art and craft with painting, photography, sculpture, mixed-media, craft,
jewelry, and more.

BIMA will also host a strollable ArtMarket on Sundays in July and a 10th Anniversary Block
Party to ‘rock the rock’ on August 5 featuring a free day of art, food, beer and wine
gardens, and music from artists like Shaina Shepherd and Tomo Nakayama.
For more information, check out www.biartmuseum.org. The museum is free and open 7
days a week.
