Over 30 organizations, businesses, and agencies will be present for the Bainbridge Island Senior/Community Center’s (BISCC) Resource Fair on Saturday, September 24 from 10 am to 2 pm. The Center, located at 370 Brien Drive SE in Bainbridge Island’s Waterfront Park, will be chock-full of information about housing, transportation, library services, end-of-life planning, and more. Learn about art, nutrition, energy efficiency, and quiz experts. Visit tables and take part in activities throughout the Center, and then enjoy refreshments on the patio beginning at noon: $1 beer samples from Bainbridge Brewing and treats from Town and Country Market. Meet people, learn about services, and catch up with friends. PSE is a sponsor of the Resource Fair and a community sponsor of BISCC.
This This event is an example of how BISCC is working to help create a vibrant, compassionate, and inclusive Bainbridge Island. The organization partners with several other nonprofits to build bridges between people of all ages. The Center boasts over 1,600 members and provides over 250 activities a month. Membership is just $20 a calendar year and is open to people of all ages who support the Center’s mission to enhance the quality of life for people as they age.
